It’s Official!
AzBWB is an official 501c-3!
Arizona Burners Without Borders
Known as Arizona Burners Community Outreach

Arizona Burners Without Borders (AzBWB) was founded by Corinne Vivers in 2015 as a grass-roots hub for volunteers to connect with opportunities to help those in need. In 2017 they reorganized under the leadership of Ron Russell with the goal of obtaining status as a non-profit organization. In the winter of 2019, a steering committee was formed to create the vision, mission statement, and select the board members for the non-profit. In addition to Corinne and Ron, the members of the steering committee were Morgan Winburn, April Davis, Tyrus Watson, Lonna Olson, and Isobel Truly. AzBWB pursued official non-profit status and was granted its 501c-3 in February 2020, making all donations to the group tax-deductible. This endeavor would not have been possible without the guidance of and dedication of Carrie Abts, another important member of our steering committee.

There are many opportunities throughout the month for you to join and make a difference. Join us on the third Saturday of the month for AzBWB Civic Saturdays. These events are geared towards our grant recipients. All donations are tax-deductible.
